 As the logs, rocks, and organic matter began to settle, the soil quickly showed signs of repair.

 After lots of community input and several neighborhood design charrettes, a Concept Design of Malden Court Community Orchard was created.

 Volunteers were led in fruit tree planting as well as native plantings for local pollinators.

 Community members now enjoy a Community Orchard filled with a variety of fruit trees, fruiting shrubs, vines, and ground covers, and natives and edible perennials for year-round harvests and workshops.

The Hymansmith Home: A Forest Edge Ecology in North East Portland

 The Hymansmiths were determined to finally convert the entirety of their double lot to native and edible plants for pollinators and local wildlife.

Arts & Wellness on the Long Beach Peninsula

 In collaboration with Nootka Rose Nursery and the Sou'wester Crew, we are currently making great progress in invasive species management and site prep for a phased planting process over the course of 2017, 2018, & beyond.  Check out the Native Planters featured in the Trailer Court and newly planted Native and Edible Hedgerow for future foraging.
